Kelly McGonigal, PhD, is a health psychologist, researcher and lecturer at Stanford University, and a leading expert in the new field of “science-help.” She is passionate about translating cutting-edge research into practical life strategies for happiness, well-being, and personal success. She served as Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Yoga Therapy, a founding member of the Yoga Service Council, and enjoys leading group fitness classes. She is also on advisory boards of several NGOs bringing yoga and meditation to underserved and at-risk populations.
